* Hotels: There are blocks of rooms at the Fort Collins Hilton and on campus in dorms. The dorms are less expensive, include private bathrooms and air conditioning, and come with both breakfast and lunch in a cafeteria. It is anticipated that most participants will stay in the dorms. Local information

Lectures and minisymposia will be in the Clark building at Colorado State University, in Fort Collins, CO.

  • Travel: Participants will find it most convenient to fly into Denver (DEN), a hub for both United and Frontier, and take a SuperShuttle van (or a GreenRide van) to their hotels. Van reservations are strongly recommended and there is a discount if you take SuperShuttle (the preferred airport shuttle for this meeting). SuperShuttle offers 17 daily shuttles between Denver Int'l Airport and Fort Collins. Click here to receive $9 off a one-way shuttle or $20 off a round-trip shuttle. If you prefer to book your shuttle over the phone, call 1-800-258-3826 and make sure to mention discount code "SIAM1" to receive the discount. For a list of shuttle times, click here. If you will be attending the pre-conference Tutorials in the Mountains, then please see that website for details on when to arrive.
  • Hotels: There are blocks of rooms at the Fort Collins Hilton and on campus in dorms. The dorms are less expensive, include private bathrooms and air conditioning, and come with both breakfast and lunch in a cafeteria. It is anticipated that most participants will stay in the dorms. Other options in the area include the Best Western University Inn and, a bit farther away, the Armstrong Hotel. Please see the official AG13 housing webpage for further details and links to the appropriate registration pages.
  • Food: There are numerous dining options around campus, particularly across Shields on Elizabeth, along College between Prospect and Laurel, and 15-20 minutes north of the conference venue, in Old Town. The student union, adjacent to the venue, will likely be closed for renovation at the time of the conference. Participants staying in the dorms will have breakfast and lunch provided in a cafeteria. Participants staying elsewhere may eat there for approximately $12 (cash only!) per meal. More details will be posted later.
  • Before and after the conference: Conference participants may want to consider planning for a few extra days in the region as the Colorado Rockies are a common vacation spot for families. Destinations other than Fort Collins/Loveland include Aspen, Vail, Estes Park, Colorado Springs, and many others. Further details and options will be posted on the AG13 Travel Page.

Please contact Dan Bates (bates [AT] math.colostate.edu) with any questions.
